Katherine is experienced in preparing students for the Eleven Plus (11+) examination in Essex. This year, 100% of her students preparing for exams for selective schools passed, both common entrance examinations and the Eleven Plus, securing places at Chelmsford and Colchester Grammar schools, and St. Mary's in Colchester.
Katherine is also is experienced in working with pupils who need some extra one on one support to boost their levels of achievement, including pupils with special needs such as dyslexia and ASD.
One on one tutorial sessions are always built around the goals and needs of the student in question. Materials used are up to date and based, for example, on the appropriate National Curriculum levels, or CSSE materials for 11+ students. Lessons are also designed to be fun and motivating.
