Katherine trained as a primary school teacher with Forest Independent Primary Collegiate, based in Chigwell, Essex, who have a special emphasis on equipping teachers to meet the needs of pupils who have different learning styles or special educational needs. She has also worked as a class teacher at Columbus Special School in Chelmsford and as a specialist teacher for SENCAN's Autistic Spectrum Disorder Specialist Teacher Team in Essex.
She is confident working with a wide range of special needs, including ASD, dyslexia and general learning difficulties. With a variety of kinaesthetic and visual resources available and using i-Pad software, Katherine ensures that lessons are motivating and fun so that learning can be a success story for all and pupils can build their knowledge, skills and confidence.
